Thank you so much for attending the MDJ lesson today. I was so suprised that you sounded just like a native Japanese. You have many qualities that will help you improve your Japanese, so let's enjoy learning Japanese together.
●What we learned today( for reveiw) watashiwa 〜desu. country+ji desu.
●for next class occupation words and other greeting words
Today, You practiced R sounds and writing hiragana from あ to な!
Plese write it repeatedly until you can remember it, and connect the sound to the shape.
ら sound:らいおん (lion)、りんご (apple)、るす (absence)、れんらく (contact)、ろしあ (Russia) The Japanese "R" sounds are different from English "L" and "R" sounds. In Japanese, subtle differences in ""R"" sounds don't change meaning,so even if mispronounced, it will be understood."
Japanese ""R"": It is pronounced by briefly touching the tip of the tongue to the alveolar ridge(the hard area just behind the teeth) without curling it like the English ""R."" The tongue position and the duration of contact differ from the English ""L."""
