Thank you for joining the lesson as always. It was great to see you again! Today, we practiced permission expressions in Japanese, including “May I eat something?", "May I drink something?" , and "May I go to sleep?" . For the responses, we used phrases like "Not right now… you can’t. You’re studying. Please eat, drink, or sleep after the lesson.” We worked on these through situational practice.
For example: * いま、なにかたべてもいいですか? (May I eat something?) いいえ、いけません、いまべんきょうちゅうです。あとでたべてください。(NO, You can't. You’re studying. Please eat after the lesson.) This was done as a situational role‑play.
Excellent work! You always used the phrases we studied right away such as, "みならわなければ なりません". We also shared vocabulary between English and Japanese. For example, we discussed how “いやです” can be expressed in English as "I don’t want to,”"I don’t like that,”or a strong "No." I really enjoyed our conversation. I hope you had a good time too. Thank you for your hard work, おつかれさまでした! Have a great weekend. See you next time!

You hadn’t really reviewed counter words very much, but your hiragana reading has improved a lot. I’ll give you a test next time, so please practice until you can read Japanese maps smoothly. Also, check out the websites and channels I recommended and find places you’d like to visit.

Thank you for joining the lesson as always. It was great to see you! In today's lesson, we continued studying the polite forms used with na‑adjectives and nouns, in Japanese: desu for the present tense, deshita for the past tense, ja arimasen for the present negative, and ja arimasen deshita for the past negative.
Next week, we will continue practicing by creating sentences and speaking using the vocabulary from the textbook. You did an excellent job today. Thank you for your hard work. I hope you have a lovely weekend.
