Thank you for the lesson today!
We went deep into て形 today using the "Santa Claus is coming to town" melody as a mnemonic — い・ち・り→って、に・び・み→んで、 き→いて/ぎ→いで、し→して, いきます→いって (irregular) and します→して/きます→きて for G3. (G2 was left out of the song since it's simple — just stem+て.)
You forgot the verb groupings at first but recalled them with a little prompting — good sign that it's sinking in!
The free talk about Pokemon types and Demon Slayer Hashira types was a great way to practice using more verbs naturally.
Sample Sentences (今日の例文)
★て形のうた (Santa Claus is Coming to Town melody) い・ち・り → って に・び・み → んで き → いて/ぎ → いで し → して いきます → いって(れいがい) します → して/きます → きて(G3)
★Using て形 to connect actions アニメを みて、はしらの タイプを おぼえました。 (I watched the anime, and then memorized the Hashira types.)
またらいしゅう!

Thank you for always joining the lessons. I really appreciate it, and it makes me very happy.
We continued studying how to use different kinds of adjectives and verbs to create multiple sentences. You were able to understand how to use the verb forms — the masu‑form, the past tense mashita, and the past negative masen deshita.
For na‑adjectives and nouns, you could also distinguish between the present form desu and the past form deshita. For i‑adjectives, you use the present form desu, the present negative form ku‑nai desu, the past form katta desu, and the past negative form ku‑nakatta desu.
You said during our lesson that you studied and reviewed by yourself. Thank you very much — I was really happy to hear that. Well done, great job today as well. Have a great week. See you in September!

🍜 Action Location Particles, Inviting Someone & Daily Schedule: Review
This review covers the action location particle で, asking/inviting someone out (~ませんか / ~ない?), practicing asking your spouse out, and making a daily schedule (~の一日).
### 1. Action Location Particle: [ Place ] で [ Action ]
Use particle で (de) to indicate the **place where an action occurs**:
> 💡 Formula: > [ Subject は ] [ Place ] で [ Object を ] [ Verb ]。
Examples: ・わたしは スーパーで おかしを かいます。 (I buy sweets at the supermarket.) ・わたしは コーヒーやで タピオカを かいます。 (I buy boba / tapioca at the coffee shop.) ・わたしは レストランで バクラヴァを たべます。 (I eat baklava at the restaurant.)

💡 Asking Location: どこで ・Q: どこで ゲームを しますか。 (Where do you play games?) * A: ゲーセン〔ゲームセンター〕で します。 (I play at the arcade.) ・Q: どこで おさけを のみますか。 (Where do you drink alcohol?) * A: いざかやで のみます。 (I drink at an izakaya.) ・Q: どこで えいがを みますか。 (Where do you watch movies?) * A: えいかん / えいがかんで みます。 (I watch at the movie theater.) ・Q: どこで ふくを かいますか。 (Where do you buy clothes?) * A: はらじゅくで かいます。 (I buy clothes in Harajuku.)
### 2. Inviting Someone Out: ~ませんか / ~ない? (人をさそう)
When inviting someone to do something together, use **いっしょに (together)** with polite (~ませんか) or casual (~ない?) invitation forms.
> 💡 Polite Invitation: [ Verb ます-stem ] + ませんか。 > 💡 Casual Invitation: [ Verb Dictionary / Plain Negative ] + ない?
Examples: ・いっしょに ダンスを おどりませんか。 (Would you like to dance with me?) * Casual: いっしょに ダンスを おどらない? (Won't you dance with me?)
・(アニメ) いっしょに アニメを みませんか。 / みない? ・(テニス) いっしょに テニスを しませんか。 / しない? ・(びじゅつかん) いっしょに びじゅつかんへ いきませんか。 / いかない? ・(ラーメン) いっしょに ラーメンを たべませんか。 / たべない? ・(まんが) いっしょに まんかを よみませんか。 / よまない?
💬 Responding to Invitations: ・はい、たべましょう! (Yes, let's eat!) ・はい、いつでも たべましょう! (Yes, let's eat anytime!) ・たべよう! / みよう! (Casual: Let's eat! / Let's watch!)
### 3. Practice: Asking Your Spouse Out (およめさん / おくさんを さそう)
Lucas practiced inviting his wife out using both polite and friendly phrases!
Conversation Snippet: ・「あの... (Excuse me / Um...)」 ・「いっしょに ひるごはんを たべませんか。」 (Would you like to eat lunch together?) * Useful vocabulary: もじもじ (mojimoji = fidgeting / shy), はずかしい (hazukashii = embarrassed), いってきなよ (Ittekinayo = You should go / Go for it!).
### 4. Making a Daily Schedule: [ Person ] の いちにち
Use **おきます** (wake up), **いきます** (go), **かえります** (return home), **たべます** (eat), and **ねます** (sleep) with specific time particles **[ Time ] に**:
Jean's One Day Schedule (ジェーンの いちにち): ・07:00 ジェーンは おきます。 (Jean wakes up.) ・08:00 あさごはんを たべます。 (Eats breakfast.) ・09:00 ジェーンは がっこうへ いきます。 (Jean goes to school.) ・12:00 ひるごはんを たべます。 (Eats lunch.) ・17:00 いえに かえります。 (Returns home.) ・19:00 ばんごはんを たべます。 (Eats dinner.) ・20:00 ジェーンは テレビを みます。 (Jean watches TV.) ・22:00 ねます。 (Sleeps.)
