Since you are planning to take a trip, we looked at a map of the U.S. and learned some words for directions: east, west, south, and north. Please keep in mind that kanji can have multiple readings, such as “higashi/to” for 東, “nishi/sei” for 西, “minami/nan” for 南, and “kita/hoku” for 北. We also had a vocabulary quiz to check the meanings of words from Chapter 1 of Volume 1 of the manga Flying Witch, which we read before. There may have been quite a few words that we don't often come across in our lessons, but let's take this opportunity to learn them!
