I hope you enjoyed today's class. We learned Lesson 2, key phrase 4&5, and we practiced counting, counting with さい。We also learned how to call family. Next week we will review おいくつですか and だれの…, and learn how to call your friend's family when asking about his/her family. Take good care of yourself and see you then.
Today, we reviewed adjectives and practiced using their negative forms. We practiced in a Q&A style, and you were able to answer questions using negative adjectives correctly. For example:
そのほんはおもしろいですか。 Sono hon wa omoshiroi desu ka? Is that book interesting?
いいえ、おもしろくないです。 Iie, omoshirokunai desu. No, it isn’t interesting.
We also practiced using どんな to ask what kind of things someone likes. For example:
どんなくるまがすきですか。 Donna kuruma ga suki desu ka? What kind of car do you like?
あたらしいくるまがすきです。 Atarashii kuruma ga suki desu. I like new cars.
