Thank you for coming to the lesson today too! I'm very happy we talked a lot today. We did Numbers 1-10 and the last lesson's review. Next week, we will do Numbers 11-, and some phrases for shopping. I will prepare to explain about SHINTO more. See you next week!
きょうも レッスン ありがとうございました。 You did a great job today! You understood everything very well. Your pronunciation is getting better, too! Keep up the good work!
Today, you told me about what your children are studying at school. I found it very interesting! Your daughter is studying French, and your son is studying Italian. In Japan, English is usually the main foreign language students study in high school, so I think it’s wonderful that students have different language options to choose from.
And of course, you are studying Japanese! Your family is learning so many different languages. That’s really impressive!
I was also surprised to hear that your son has cooking classes at school and has made things like Italian pasta and cookies. Students in Japan sometimes cook in school as well, but cooking classes are not very frequent, and they usually don't make anything too elaborate. It sounds great that your children have opportunities to learn so many different things at school.
We also talked about your trip to Japan in December. You said that you are planning to buy a lot of manga because manga in Japan is about half the price it is in the United States. Please buy lots of manga while you're there! It sounds like you’ll need to make a shopping list before your trip. 😄
Thank you for also telling me about some interesting upcoming anime, including 「カグラバチ」 and 「とんがりぼうしのアトリエ」. It sounds like we’ll have plenty of interesting anime to watch next year. I’m looking forward to them!
In today’s lesson, we practiced using the potential form to talk about things we could do when we were children. We were able to ask each other many interesting questions using the grammar we studied. You did a great job!
Thank you for studying so much Japanese with me throughout August. Let’s continue working hard and having fun learning Japanese together in September!
Thank you again for coming to class today. See you in our next lesson! またね!
