Thank you for joining the last of May. It was great to see you again! In today’s lesson, we mainly reviewed and practiced using “What kind of 〜?”, “How about 〜?”, and the past affirmative and past negative forms of adjectives.
For example: "Kakkoii”is a slightly casual i‑adjective. It's commonly used in conversation.
"kakkoyokunai desu (polite), The negative form "nai”is also casual. To make it polite, you add“desu”after it.
This is an irregular pattern. This adjective is irregular because "ii”changes to“yoku” in the negative form. It follows the same rule as ii / yoi. ii → yoi(original form) yoi → yoku nai(negative) yoi → yokatta(past) yoi → yoku(adverb)
Next time, we mainly reviewed and practiced using “What kind of 〜?”,"How about 〜?", and the past affirmative and past negative forms of adjectives. Thank you so much for sharing your answers again. I really enjoyed it, and I hope you did too. Excellent job! Have a great week!

Thank you for joining the last lesson of May. It was great to see you again! First of all, it was great news to hear that your new textbook, Intermediate 1, has already arrived.
Today, we reviewed and practiced by making sentences using verbs. You have a solid understanding of Japanese sentence patterns, including the present tense, negative form, past affirmative, and past negative forms. You are also able to use appropriate adjectives. Your progress is truly impressive, and I am very proud of both of you.
Thank you for sharing your stories again today. This is one of the best ways to improve your Japanese quickly.
From the next lesson, we will start studying with the new textbook! You both worked very hard today. Have a wonderful week!
