Following last week's lesson, we continued learning hiragana, the Japanese writing system. In addition to the basic hiragana characters, we introduced voiced sounds (dakuon), semi-voiced sounds (handakuon), contracted sounds (yoon), and long vowels (chouon), and practiced the pronunciation of each one individually.

The polite form is "Please do not do something."
It's good to simply memorize them.
This part is based on the nai‑form.
Japanese verbs are divided into three groups.
Group 1 verbs have various conjugation changes.
Group 2 verbs are not conjugated in the same way.
Group 3 verbs are irregular, and there are only two:
します, which becomes しない in the nai‑form,
and きます, which becomes こない in the nai‑form.
We used expressions like“ひそかに secretly” and
“ざんねんながら unfortunately” today, and you chose the Japanese meanings very well during our conversation.

Through the Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon, you also learned the words 古来 (こらい, ancient) and 未来 (みらい, future).
