Your hiragana reading has become much smoother than before. You're making good progress. Keep listening to the audio and connecting the sounds with the characters. If you can't read hiragana, studying Japanese can be very difficult.
Thank you for joining the lesson as always. It was great to see you again! In today’s lesson, we worked on Intermission 2, the desu‑talk. In this section, you add “desu” at the end of the sentence. This is a Question and Answer activity, and “desu” keeps the sentence polite. In Japanese, you form a question by adding“ka”at the end — in this case, "desu ka?”.
We also used some verbs and adjectives and had a short conversation. Excellent work today! In the next lesson, we will continue practicing expressions like“Kore wa nan desu ka?" and“Kono hito wa dare desu ka?", and we will make sentences using verbs.
