こんばんは。今日も日本語だけでたくさん話してくださり、ありがとうございました。そして同時並行（どうじへいこう）でたくさんのことをされて、とても頑張（がんば）り屋（や）のダコタさん、応援（おうえん）しています。
授業は、句読点（くとうてん）やカギカッコ「 」の文法（ぶんぽう）用語（ようご）、
「日本で生産したお茶だけを『日本茶』と呼ぶことを決めた」のニュースを読んでいただきました。日本の文化をよくご存知（ぞんじ）のダコタさん、「抹茶ラテ」や「日本茶」についてよく理解されているようなので、この記事（きじ）は興味深（きょうみぶか）かったことと思います。

First, we talked about the World Cup. It's too bad that Brazil lost, especially because they were such a strong team. That was really disappointing.
Even though Brazil lost, I'm glad you had a great time at the party with your friends. It sounds like you still enjoyed the day.
Now you're cheering for France or Argentina. The World Cup is getting closer and closer to the final, and I'm getting excited too!
Today, we studied the difference between います (imasu) and あります (arimasu). I think you understood the difference very well.
For example:
おばけがいます。
Obake ga imasu.
There is a ghost.
ゾンビがいます。
Zonbi ga imasu.
There is a zombie.
水族館に魚がいます。
Suizokukan ni sakana ga imasu.
There are fish in the aquarium.
スーパーに魚があります。
Sūpā ni sakana ga arimasu.
There is fish at the supermarket.
Today, we also learned a lot of new vocabulary. You don't need to memorize all of the words at once. We used many new words to make different sentences, and I think you did a great job.
