About “node” in the textbook, “node” and “kara” both mean “because,” but they have different nuances and levels of politeness. “kara” = because (direct) “node” = because / since (polite) In this sentence, “chotto” does not mean “a little.”, “chotto” refers to a short amount of time. It means “for a moment,” and it’s also used to make the request sound polite. You’re very sharp, and I can feel your enthusiasm.
