Thank you for the lesson today!
Great work today with the verb flashcards! Your understanding of
て形 and た形 came really quickly — you noticed right away that you
just change て to た. We also practiced ～たことがあります to talk
about experiences. Building up more verb vocabulary will help a lot,
so keep using the flashcards!
Sample Sentences (今日の例文)
★Talking about Experience (～たことがあります)
すしを たべたことが ありますか？
(Have you ever eaten sushi?)
はい、なんかいも たべたことが あります。
(Yes, I've eaten it many times.)
★Connecting Actions (て形)
ライブに いって、すしを たべました。

のむ → のんで（て形）／ のんだ（た形）

In today’s lesson, we practiced making sentences in the past tense and negative form using kaimasu, chūmon shimasu, kaerimasu, and ryokō shimasu.
We also reviewed adjectives in the past tense and negative form. Creating simple, short sentences is the most important way to build a strong foundation.
You also shared your stories today, which is another key point for improving your Japanese.

・最終的に…It means the final result after a long process.
・貴族…People of high social rank.
・近い…It can mean near in distance, time, or relationships.
・扱い…How someone or something is treated by others.
・神殿…A sacred building.
Shrines are for Shinto, which is Japan's native religion. Temples are for Buddhism, which came from outside Japan.
At shrines, people worship 'Kami', which means gods of nature. At temples, people worship Buddha.
