Thank you so much joining the lesson as always. It was great to see you again! In today's lesson, we continued studying and practicing "moshikashite", "sasuga", useful expressions.
For example,
*sugoi hitodesune, takusan hitoga imasu, sasuga,Biyose desune.
(It’s so crowded.There are so many people.)
“In Japanese, we say ‘sugoi hito desu’ or ‘takusan hito ga imasu’. In English, we often use ‘a lot of’.
‘A lot of’ is very useful because you can use it for both countable and uncountable things.
For example, ‘a lot of people’ and ‘a lot of water’ are both correct.
We created sentences such as,
*Polar wa tansan ga tsuyoi desune, sasuga wa Polar desu.
(Polar has strong carbonation. That’s Polar for you. )
*Hollywood wa nagai ninki no eiga ga takusan arimasu. sasuga, Hollywood desu.( Hollywood has a long history, and there are many popular movies. That’s Hollywood.)
