Thank you for joining the lesson today without missing any classes. I’m really glad I could see you. Today we focused on practicing the te‑form. I introduced some new verbs such as warai-masu, manabi-masu, kaeri-masu, tsukai-masu, nakushi-masu, and keshi-masu. These are Group 1 (conjugation verbs). Then we looked at kashi-masu and kake-masu, which are Group 2 (non‑conjugation verbs).
By changing these verbs into the te‑form and adding “kudasai,” you can make polite request phrases. Using the te‑form, you can also create phrases to connect actions and give reasons. We will study those in the next stage. For now, we will focus on practicing “te‑form + kudasai.” You already understand the basic grammar, so there is absolutely no need to rush. You will get used to it step by step.
Thank you for your hard work — I’m truly happy with your progress. Have a wonderful weekend, and see you next week!

Andrea-san, thank you for your hard work today.
We finished Lesson 5. You can now use "〜てください" to make requests, give instructions, and offer suggestions!
We also studied how to use the te-form to connect actions.「わたし は りょうりして、あとかたづけ を しました」
In addition, we covered Lesson 6 on "〜ている.”
In our next lesson, let’s practice “〜ている” a lot.
I look forward to seeing you in class next week. Please take good care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon.
