We studied the words used when it’s not clear what “この” “その,” or “あの” refers to. For example: “このかばん,” “あのかばん,” and “その かばん.” Ideally, it would be good to have opportunities to use them little by little, but I understand that it’s not easy when you’re in the United States. Please try to make an effort to use even a little of the Japanese you’ve learned during our conversations.
Thank you for taking today’s lesson. I’m glad you could relax at the hot spring. Going to a hot spring and eating good food gives you energy! Today we also studied the question words “what” and “who.” Now you can ask many questions when you come to Japan. See you again in next week’s lesson! If you have time, please try practicing reading and writing “aiueo.あいうえお” Below are the words and phrases we studied today outside the textbook.
