Thank you for coming to the lesson. Since this was our first lesson, we learned how to give a simple self-introduction. You learned how to introduce your name, nationality, and occupation in Japanese. You also learned how to say numbers from 0 to 100.
It was so wonderful to see you again today! I was so touched to learn that your favorite anime is an old Japanese anime you watched when you were still a little child. I will definitely check it out right away, too. Today, we had a lesson on how to make and drink matcha. Next week, let's actually practice a bit using a bamboo whisk (chasen) and a matcha bowl! Thank you also for introducing me to your pet cat. She is so cute. You did a wonderful job introducing both your cat and yourself. At the end of today's lesson, we practiced Japanese greetings. You were very good at imitating the pronunciation. I am really looking forward to our lesson next week!
